I need to brainstorm.
I have all their names
- Harlan Revees
- Corbin Ford
- Fallon Dently
- Gray Ford
So I came up with a few different places. I like the Harry Potter place/theme park but yeah... thaats complicated. I was thinking New York City. That's not hard. There's so many reasons to go to NYC.
BUT IS IT TOO EASY??
I mean think about it. Glee did a thing on NYC. Rachel and Kurt moved there. f.r.i.e.n.d.s is set there. It kinda seems like the easy way out. I'm not 100% sure I want that. Which is why this is so hard. Where do they go, that's not easy AND not complicated. WHERE???????
However I am certain I want Fallon and Harlan to be bestfriends who just graduated high school and are going on this road trip to explore the country before having to settle down in one spot. I want them to be from some small southern town that would be easy to talk about. SO! I was thinking, What better place than home? Fallon and Harlan are totally going to be from Hendersonville TN.
For the other boys. I want them to be supportive brothers. Corbin just came out and their parents aren't supportive. Gray takes him on this trip to get him away from the mess of a home they grew up in and so he can be happy for awhile. (Thinking right after high school as well.) Starting point for them is kinda tricky.
So Due to resent events I may have decide to take them to Disney world. WOO! Destination done.
Still the boys have no home...

I think all of this info will give me enough to write the first two chapters. swag.

You should have them travel in the middle of nowhere looking for The "wolf" tribe.
ReplyDeleteI checked out Marlinton on the Internet. Looks cool. One thing to consider would be which towns they pass through en route to Disney World. One group might go to the Atlantic Coast and go down through the Carolinas & Savannah, the other might go through Atlanta or the Gulf Coast. Just a thought.
